If you use a Mac and work with a lot of different files and clients like we do, then you need a reliable FTP application to keep track of all your different accounts in an organized, functional, and most importantly for me, visually appealing way. Enter TRANSMIT.
Transmit is a comprehensive FTP program that can also be used for working with Amazon S3 accounts and WebDav. Before Transmit, I was using a combination of a Firefox plugin to handle AS3 files and Filezilla to handle my FTP accounts. Transmit allows me to have them all organized into one app. I setup different folders for each client, inside of which are their FTP account(s), AS3 accounts, and more.
Transmit is only available for Mac users at this time, and does cost $34 to purchase. But it looks good, works super fast, and is worth every penny.
